Este dise\u00f1o contrasta con los motores tradicionales, en los que el rotor suele estar dentro del estator. El dise\u00f1o de rotor externo permite obtener ciertas ventajas de rendimiento, en particular en la generaci\u00f3n de un par mayor.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Componentes_clave\"><\/span>Componentes clave<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Rotor externo: el rotor de un motor de propulsi\u00f3n externa se encuentra en el exterior y, por lo general, tiene imanes permanentes fijados a su superficie interior. Esta ubicaci\u00f3n externa del rotor es clave para la capacidad del motor de producir un par elevado.<\/p>\n<p>Estator interno: el estator se encuentra dentro del rotor y contiene los devanados. Cuando la corriente el\u00e9ctrica fluye a trav\u00e9s de estos devanados, genera un campo magn\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n<p>Devanados: son bobinas de alambre situadas en el estator. Generan movimiento cuando la corriente fluye a trav\u00e9s de ellas y se combinan con el campo magn\u00e9tico del rotor para producir un campo electromagn\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Principio_de_funcionamiento\"><\/span>Principio de funcionamiento<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>El funcionamiento de un motor sin escobillas con motor fueraborda implica los siguientes pasos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corriente el\u00e9ctrica y campo magn\u00e9tico: cuando una corriente el\u00e9ctrica pasa a trav\u00e9s de los devanados del estator, genera un campo magn\u00e9tico giratorio.<\/li>\n<li>Interacci\u00f3n con los imanes del rotor: los imanes permanentes de la superficie interior del rotor externo est\u00e1n en contacto con este campo magn\u00e9tico giratorio.<\/li>\n<li>Producci\u00f3n de par: el par producido por la interacci\u00f3n de los campos magn\u00e9ticos de los imanes del rotor y los devanados del estator hace que el rotor gire.<\/li>\n<li>Rotaci\u00f3n continua: el rotor contin\u00faa girando mientras los devanados del estator reciban corriente, lo que mantiene un campo magn\u00e9tico giratorio que mantiene al
